I am a graduate student in theBiopsychologydepartment at theUniversity of Michigan, workingwith Dr. Thore Bergman. I am broadlyinterested in vocal communication, social behavior, and conservation. Myworkfocusesonbehavioralflexibility, and howthemonkeyschange vocal and social behavioraccordingtodifferentcontexts. I look at social contexts, includingthepresence of certaingroupmembers, and thegeographicalcontext, includingwherethey are in theforest and howclosethey are totheedge. I am alsointerested in theeffects of habitatdisturbanceonbehavior, rangingpatterns, and vocalizations. I conductmyresearch at the Capuchinos de Taboga fieldsite. Beforestartingmy PhD in 2020, I graduatedfrommyMasters in Primate Conservation at Oxford BrookesUniversity in 2019, and a BA in Anthropology and Sociologyfrom Durham University in 2013.
