I am the vocalization field assistant at the Capuchinos de Taboga fieldsite. I arrived at Taboga in January 2025 as an assistant of one of the PhD students after working in the tropical forest of Madagascar with lemurs for my master thesis. I help collect acoustic data on wild white-faced capuchins, collect behavioral data and biological samples and organize individual and group life history.
I feel lucky to work in the forest and learn everyday many things from the monkeys, especially their fascinating and unique way of communicating.
